Masala Theory – Surry Hills 2017
To be honest, I was unsure about this job when we were presented with the design brief. being so bright and colourful, it was hard to imagine the finished look.
It became obvious pretty quickly that the look and feel of the restaurant match the owners personality perfectly. Joyful, full of energy and a reluctance to take themselves too seriously.
The designers from Danny Broe Architects were so confident of their design that it was easy to bite my lip, and paint until the end result revealed itself beautifully, then I took all the credit of course.
